Caleb joined UniLift in 2012, beginning his heavy-lift career in the lifting inspection team before moving into wire rope production, then welding and fabrication. Over more than a decade, he has developed broad and deep expertise across all aspects of lifting and rigging equipment.

His focus has since shifted to specialty steel wire rope, with particular emphasis on the crane, drilling and specialist lift industries. Beyond his technical role, Caleb contributes directly to the company’s future, playing an integral part in management and the strategic vision that continues to drive UniLift’s growth.

With more than a decade at UniLift, Calvin brings practical experience and a hands-on approach to every project. As Director, he oversees global product sourcing and business development across Western Australia, ensuring clients receive the right goods delivered on time and without compromise.

Raised in a family business, Calvin developed an early understanding of accountability and what it takes to deliver under pressure. Known for his honest communication and his ability to spot risks before they become problems, he is a team player who is energised by complex challenges and tight deadlines. Rob joined the team in 2021, bringing a strong background in logistics, warehousing and management. He oversees production planning, dispatch, freight handling, storekeeping, systems administration and customer service, ensuring clients are provided with the right stock, right on time.

Rob is known for his knack for spotting data errors before they become problems, and a natural ability to motivate the people around him. He thrives under pressure — the busier things get, the more focused he becomes. One thing experience has taught him: you have to see and touch products to truly understand quality; there are no photo or video substitutes for that.

Herbert joined Unilift Global Pty Ltd on 15 November 2021. He is a qualified and licensed Mechanical Engineer from the Philippines with experience in lifting, rigging, and safety equipment inspection and testing. As an Inspection and Testing Officer, he is responsible for conducting inspections, proof load testing, and ensuring compliance with applicable Australian Standards and industry requirements.

In addition to his technical responsibilities, Herbert serves as the Quality Assurance Representative, overseeing the implementation and maintenance of the company's quality management system. He manages activities related to NATA accreditation and compliance with both ISO/IEC 17025 (Testing and Calibration Laboratories) and ISO/IEC 17020 (Inspection Bodies), ensuring that inspection and testing activities are conducted in accordance with relevant accreditation requirements. He also supports continuous improvement initiatives and promotes quality, technical competence, and regulatory compliance throughout the organization.

Epiroc Pit Viper Drills

In October 2015, a client approached UniLift seeking an alternative supplier for their wire ropes. UniLift conducted a detailed analysis of the ropes in use and, by the end of 2015, had designed and patented a high-performance rope.

In January 2016, Unilift installed our high performance rope alongside the OEM and two competitor ropes in a controlled trial.
